it takes a village — here's mine
Caitlyn Skolnick with a stack of books — the New Jersey providers she trusts with her own clients

the referral list · New Jersey

Providers I trust with my own clients.

Therapy is one piece of the village. These are the New Jersey providers I refer to by name — because "everyone asks about the baby, nobody asks about you" shouldn't apply to your body, your feeding journey, or your floor(s).

The short list

The Maternal Wellness Collective

The bigger vision: a New Jersey collective connecting mothers with the providers, education, and community this season actually requires — co-founded by me and Dr. Chambers. Events and gatherings are coming; follow along for announcements.

Bloom Physical Therapy & Wellness — Dr. Lindsay Chambers, PT, DPT

Pelvic floor physical therapy for pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond — because "it's normal after kids" is a myth that deserves retirement. She also treats babies and children with torticollis and other early movement concerns, so she can care for both of you. Lindsay is my co-founder in the Maternal Wellness Collective — while she takes care of your body, I help you find yourself again.

It Starts With Sleep — Kate Faraci

Pediatric sleep support built around your actual family instead of whatever the internet is shouting this week. Kate builds a custom plan that fits your parenting style and gets the whole house back to bed. Sleep deprivation sits upstream of so much of what I see in session — when everyone finally sleeps, capacity comes back.

Maplewood Lactation — Danielle Tropea, MPH, IBCLC

For feeding support that meets you without judgement — nursing, pumping, bottles, weaning, and every combination. Danielle is the lactation consultant I trust with brand-new moms at their most tender. Feeding struggles and postpartum anxiety often travel together — it's why we refer to each other.

This list grows carefully — OBs, midwives, doulas, psychiatrists, and sleep specialists I'd send my own family to. Are you a provider who cares for NJ moms the way this page describes? Introduce yourself.
