Privacy Policy

This page explains what information nurturehertherapy.com collects, why, and what happens to it. Plain language on purpose — a privacy policy nobody can read isn't doing its job.

Last updated: August 7, 2026

This policy covers the website only

Nurture Her Therapy + Co. is a clinical practice, and clinical records are governed separately — by HIPAA, New Jersey law, and the practice's Notice of Privacy Practices, which every client receives and signs at intake. That document, not this one, governs anything discussed in session or contained in a clinical record.

No health information is collected through this website. There is no intake form, no symptom questionnaire, and no client portal here. Nothing you do on this site becomes part of a clinical record, and browsing these pages does not make you a client.

Please don't send clinical details by email or through the signup form. Email isn't a secure channel. If you'd like to talk, book a free consult and we'll speak on a platform built for it.

What this site collects

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and how they arrived. It records things like pages viewed, approximate location (city or region level), device type, and referring site. IP addresses are anonymized before storage. It does not tell us who you are, and it is never used to identify an individual visitor.

To opt out entirely, install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or use your browser's private mode or a tracker blocker. The site works exactly the same either way.

The email signup form

If you enter your email address to receive new journal posts, that address is stored by Netlify (the host) and used only to send those posts. It is not sold, rented, traded, or shared. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask to be removed at any time by replying or writing to the address below.

Server logs

Netlify keeps standard web server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps — as every web host does. These are used for security and troubleshooting and are retained on Netlify's schedule.

Cookies

The only cookies set are Google Analytics' own, which distinguish one visit from another. There is no advertising network on this site, no retargeting pixel, and nothing that follows you elsewhere on the web.

Third-party services

A few pages hand you off to services that have their own privacy policies. When you use them, you're subject to those policies too:

  • Calendly — the consult booking tool. What you enter to book a call is held by Calendly.
  • Mentaya — the out-of-network benefits checker linked from the fees page.
  • Netlify — hosting and form handling.
  • Google Analytics — as described above.

Links to Psychology Today, PSI, TherapyDen, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and partner practices lead off this site entirely. What happens there is governed by those sites.

Your choices

You can ask what information is held about you, ask for it to be deleted, or unsubscribe — just write to the address below. There isn't much to delete: an email address if you signed up, and analytics data that isn't tied to your name in the first place.

Children

This website is written for adults. Nurture Her Therapy + Co. does provide services to children and teens, including Confident Girls Club, but those are arranged by a parent or guardian — not through this site. No information is knowingly collected here from anyone under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than made quietly.
